• 4-12x50 scope (Again Leupold scope guy.  Not the cheapest but in my opinion the best)

• Red-dot reflex sight (Holuson is my pick here)

• 600–1000 yard rangefinder (Bushnell gets the pick here)

Backpacking and Camping:

• Trekking backpack

• 20-degree sleeping bag

• Compact camp stove  (Don't forget your gas refills)

• Full-tang fixed blade knife

• Folding pocket knife (Personal pick — honestly, use whatever pocket knife you love)

Chronographs:

• Budget tier Chronograph for casual or first timer

• Mid Tier Chronograph for good balance of value & features - you can't go wrong with either of these Caldwell choices.  Caldwell Ballistic Precision Kit or the Caldwell G2

• Higher Tier Chronograph for serious shooters & long range folks.  If you want to stay with Caldwell then this is a great choice for a higher tier chronograph.  Garmin also has a good one in this tier.
